From car racing on land to sail racing on the water.
During 2015 Prosport together with Honda launched a new venture to meet the yachting crowd, the M32 cup under the name Wallen Racing.
Racing has always been a cornerstone of Honda’s history, with numerous international success over the years. In 2014, we agreed upon that Honda for the first time in history, together with Prosport, formed the first privateer team from Sweden in the FIA World Touring Car Championship for 2015 season.
Honda makes this year a unique focus on sailing the M32 cup. Hans Wallen, Olympic silver medalist in Atlanta -96 and including 8 World Championship gold medals, 20 national championships in the trunk, is the one who will control the venture.
Rickard Rydell, who was the driver back then for Honda team Sweden’s engagement to the WTCC 2015 was in place on some of the races to meet with Honda’s customers, but also to follow the curiously exciting race.
“The intensity and speed of the M32 race are very comparable of the fights that we have on the racing tracks,” said Rickard Rydell.
Wallen Racing did well throughout the season, and both team and sponsors were very pleased with the end results.
Honda has an extensive product range that is found on land, in water, and in the air. Products include everything from cars, boat engines, and smaller jets. At the season’s competitions, M32 Honda Sweden took the opportunity to show off their Honda Village with everything from cars to Marine- and Garden and Industrial products.
